gold, but they went on to be credited as a direct influence upon Elvis Presley, Gene Vincent, Ricky Nelson, The Beatles,
The Yardbirds, Aerosmith, Stray Cats, The Cramps and countless others, including literally every rockabilly-styled

With his first major hit record, 'Tired Of Toein' The Line', Rocky put himself and father Johnny into an elite group
where both parent and child had individually made the national (USA) Top Ten charts. Previously limited to such showbiz
names as Sinatra, Cole and Boone, this achievement clearly underlined these true rockers' reputation as Rock And Roll
Royalty. Nineteen weeks on Billboard's record sales charts, Rocky not only reached Number Eight nationally in the USA
with this rockabilly-flavoured classic, but also had an international Top Ten hit that topped the charts as Number 1 for
several weeks in Australia and other countries."
